I had lunch with a good friend today who asked how many states we went to on this trip. I was embarrassed that I didn’t know. So here is the list (in order of appearance):<\/p>\n

  9. Washington DC<\/li>\n
  10. Maryland<\/li>\n
  11. Delaware<\/li>\n
  12. New Jersey<\/li>\n
  13. New York<\/li>\n
  14. Connecticut<\/li>\n
  15. Massachusetts<\/li>\n
  16. Pennsylvania<\/li>\n
  17. Ohio<\/li>\n
  18. Indiana<\/li>\n
  19. Michigan<\/li>\n
  20. Illinois<\/li>\n
  21. Wisconsin<\/li>\n
  22. Minneapolis<\/li>\n
  23. North Dakota<\/li>\n
  24. Montana<\/li>\n
  25. Wyoming<\/li>\n
  26. Idaho<\/li>\n
  27. Nevada<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So 26 or 27 depending on whether DC counts as a state. All that in 22 days. Lucky those eastern ones are small.<\/p>\n

    Yeah, we could totally have crossed tiny Rhode Island off but it seemed like driving 5 miles and touching ground then going back was somehow cheating. (Michigan, you be quiet. We got snacks on our jaunt to you.)<\/p>\n
